I distinctly remember moving to Armidale from Mudgee in 1986. I’d arrived to a prosperous, regional Mecca – a place people were drawn to, from near and far, for cultural and rural adventures, education, sporting events, retail experiences and a good night out. I was privileged to spend my teenage years in Armidale and completed my senior schooling here. I seized every opportunity this community granted me – and now I want to give back to ensure my children and their peers have the same opportunities I had and more.
It was important for me to stand for election in 2021 to do what I could to drive the changes necessary and turn around a region that had lost it’s way. During the last term of council we’ve focused on setting the region up for growth, putting in place plans and structures that were missing for decades.
Now it’s time for our region to prosper again!
